The Rother Angling Club

Founded in 1952 in Midhurst, with a membership totalling seven the Rother Angling Club was born.

Fishing rights on the stretch of the River Rother at North Mill cost the club a rent of £3 per year. The Viscount Cowdray was elected president in 1953 & the current chairman took his seat way back in 1961.

Over the years it has been members who have made the club what it is today, by giving their time to improve the club in some way.  Slowly accumulating waters & members over the years, the club has grown into one of the most successful clubs in the area offering a range of venues to suit a variety of angling tastes.

We currently offer lakes & stretches of moving water with a varied stock of fish, so whatever your preferred taste may be, take a look around our website and welcome to the Rother Angling Club.
